The Arts Centre Gold Coast’s email subscribers are being warned to be on the lookout for a scam email sent out this morning.
The Arts Centre Gold Coast issued a warning on its Facebook page this morning saying their email account has been compromised, with unauthorised emails seeking payment for an invoice sent out to its subscribers.

The emails ask for the recipient to pay an invoice of $140 by the 1st of December.
Gold Coasters who may have received an email from The Arts Centre Gold Coast this morning are being advised to delete it immediately and to not click anything within the email.
“These emails are not authorised emails and we are still investigating the cause. We advise everyone to please disregard these emails, do not click on anything within the email or pass on any personal details to anyone regarding these emails. We are also asking people to tell their friends who may have received the email to do the same,” The Arts Centre Gold Coast said in a statement.
“We are providing updates via email and our social media channels to our patrons as soon as we have any further information. We also want to thank everyone for their calls and messages of support. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank them for their patience as we work to resolve the issue.”
