A popular heater sold at Bunnings stores nationwide has been recalled over fears it may overheat.
The hardware giant said the ‘MORETTI’ Fan Heater (model FH-2000) has been pulled from sale because of an internal fault which may cause the base of the heater to overheat and deform.
“Bunnings takes product quality and safety very seriously, and wishes to advise all customers of a recall on the following product,” they said in a statement posted on the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission website.

The company said there is a “risk of burning and electric shock”.
The recalled electric fan heater was sold at Bunnings stores from 10/04/17 to 05/06/17.
Customers have been told to immediately stop using the heater and to return it to any Bunnings Store for a full refund.
