Gold Coast train users are being warned that there will be track closures on the Gold Coast line tonight.
The closure will take place from 10.00pm until the last service on Wednesday 24 October, as overhead line maintenance and signal points maintenance works get underway.
Buses will replace trains between Beenleigh and Varsity Lakes stations, however public transport users are being urged to plan their journey in advance and allow approximately 60 minutes extra travel time.
