He was told he would never walk again.

However,  the 23-year-old has refused to accept that as his fate.

On Saturday, McKinnon shared a video on his Instagram account, showing him walking 80 metres with the help of his Gold Coast rehabilitation team.

McKinnon has always stated he would walk long-time girlfriend, and now fiance, Teigan Power, down the aisle.
