All set for the Gold Coast TV retune

ARE you wondering why your TV has mysteriously stopped working? Here’s why:

Gold Coast residents will need to re-tune their TV’s today after multiple digital TV channels changed frequencies overnight in an attempt to free up broadcasting spectrum for new services such as mobile broadband.

Major suburbs set to be affected by the frequency change include: Jacobs Well, Upper Coomera, Hope Island, Runaway Bay, Labrador, Southport, Ashmore, Guanaba, Carrara, Tamborine Mountain, Beechmont, Springbrook, Currumbin Waters, Tugun, Palm Beach, Burleigh Heads, Robina, Mermaid Beach and Broadbeach Waters.

The Australian Government advises to use your remote control to do the retuning.
