Fortunately, the house was vacant at the time and no one was injured.

Just last week, police had raided the home and allegedly seized around 70 cannabis plants worth an estimated $200,000.

Last night’s fire is being treated as suspicious.

Police told reporters there was evidence of a flammable liquid being used in a number of rooms inside the house.

Detectives attended the incident and established a crime scene which was examined by forensic officers overnight..
