Alleged drug traffickers arrested in Brisbane following major police operation

FOUR people have been arrested and charged following an intense 10-month drug trafficking operation in Brisbane.

Police wrapped up the Operation Papa Eggplant this week, raiding properties in Goodna and Richlands.

During the search warrants, Acacia Ridge Detectives allegedly seized a stash of drugs, cash, property and a taser.

A 46-year-old Goodna man and a 32-year-old woman from Inala have both been charged a string of offences including possessing and trafficking dangerous drugs, and unlawful possession of weapons.

Both were due to appear in Richlands Magistrates Court today.

Meanwhile, two women from Goodna, aged 37 and 32, have been charged with similar offences and will front the same court next month.
