A Gold Coast man has been charged with extortion and stalking after allegedly calling his victim up to 600 times a day over several weeks.
According to police, the 44-year-old Ormeau man went to the home of a 33-year-old Warner man back in August and threatened the resident and acted aggressively.
He is then accused of threatening the man over the phone over several weeks, making between 400 and 600 calls a day through an app to constantly contact the man.

It is also alleged text messages were sent threatening the Warner man including allegations of a third party being used to harm him.
He is also accused of contacting the man’s employer.
The 44-year-old man has been charged with stalking, extortion, threats, and three counts of possessing dangerous drugs.
He will appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.
