A woman who allegedly escaped hotel quarantine on the Gold Coast has been hit with a raft of charges after being found north of Brisbane.
The 24-year-old was discovered missing from the Sofitel at Broadbeach during routine checks on Wednesday.
It’s believed she escaped some time on Tuesday night via her fourth-floor balcony, leaving all her belongings behind.

She had been placed into hotel quarantine after being intercepted at the border on July 31 where she was arrested on a string of charges.
She was released on bail on Monday and taken to the Sofitel.
The woman was located around 3pm on Saturday afternoon in Caboolture after being spotted by a member of the public.
She has since been charged with one count each of fail to comply with COVID-19 Direction, wilful damage and stealing, and two counts of breach of bail in relation to other matters.
The woman was refused bail and will front Brisbane Magistrates Court via videolink on Monday.
