Amber Alert cancelled after missing toddler found

UPDATE @ 8.00 AM | Queensland Police have located a two-year-old boy who was the subject of an Amber Alert in Brisbane early Friday morning.

The youngster was taken from a medical facility in South Brisbane overnight, forcing police to issue the urgent alert.

Police confirmed in a statement a short time ago that the child had been located.


They thanked the public and media for their assistance.

EARLIER @ 6.00 AM | QUEENSLAND Police are seeking urgent public assistance to help find a two-year-old boy who was taken from a medical facility in South Brisbane overnight.

A man and woman were seen taking the boy around 8.10pm and putting him into a car and driving him away before he was seen by doctors.

Police say the toddler requires medical treatment and is at significant risk.

The woman and man are being urged to take the child to hospital and contact police as soon as possible.
