Missing 5yo girl subject to Amber Alert found “safe and well”

UPDATE @ 7.45 AM | Police have confirmed a little girl subject to an Amber Alert has been found.

The 5-year-old was reported missing from a home in Kingston in Logan overnight, sparking a major search.

A Queensland Police spokesperson confirmed the youngster was found “safe and well” this morning.

EARLIER @ 4.00 AM | Queensland Police have issued an Amber Alert to try and find a five-year-old girl missing from the Logan area who may be at “significant risk”.

The little girl was last seen at a home in Kingston around 5.15pm on Wednesday.

It’s understood a man, who is known to the little girl, put her in a vehicle which was been driven by another person and left the street.

The man left the area on foot and is currently being questioned by police.

The little girl is believed to be in company of a woman who is known to her.

The child’s current whereabouts are unknown, and police are appealing for anyone who has seen the girl, the car or has any further information to contact police.
