Amber Alert cancelled after child found

UPDATE: The 18-month-old girl reported missing from Rosewood this morning has been located safe and well.

The youngster was found by New South Wales Police just after 1.00pm Tuesday.

Police have thanked the media and public for their assistance.

EARLIER: Queensland Police are still seeking urgent public assistance to help locate an 18-month-old girl who was reported missing from Rosewood this morning.

The girl was taken from an address in Rosewood around 8.30 this morning by a woman known to her.

The girl is believed to be in a white SUV which is thought to be travelling in New South Wales with the woman and two men.

The vehicle is described as a white 2008 Hyundai Tucson wagon with New South Wales registration number CTL 30D.

Police believe the child may be at significant risk.

EARLIER: Queensland Police are seeking urgent public assistance to help locate an 18-month-old girl who was taken from a home at Rosewood around 3 hours ago and may be at significant risk.

The baby was last seen at an address in Rosewood this morning when she was taken by a woman known to her.

Police believe she was either in a small white Hyundai i30 with unknown New South Wales registration plates or black Subaru Impreza.

It is also believed that the woman may be in the company of two other men in another one of the above vehicles.

The girl is Caucasian in appearance, with blonde hair.

It is believed they may be in or travelling into New South Wales.
