It appears revenge is sweet for US actress Amber Heard, who has taken a swipe at Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce over his citizenship debacle.
The tongue-in-cheek remarks come after the Hollywood star was forced to film a video about the importance of Australia’s biosecurity laws alongside her now former husband Johnny Depp.
The pair were accused of dodging customs to smuggle their dogs Pistol and Boo into the Gold Coast in 2015.

“When Barnaby Joyce said ‘no one is above the law’ I didn’t realise he meant New Zealand law,” Heard tweeted on Tuesday.

“To comfort Mr Joyce in his hour need, I have sent him a box of New Zealand’s finest kiwi fruit (assuming this passes his biosecurity laws).”
