Ambos kept busy with multiple crashes on the Gold Coast

PARAMEDICS have been kept busy with multiple car crashes across the Gold Coast overnight.

The first call came in around 7.30pm after two cars came to grief in Ashmore.

Queensland Ambulance said the accident happened on the corner of Ashmore and Southport-Nerang Road.

One female patient was treated by paramedics at the scene for minor chest and abdominal injuries.

She was eventually transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Two hours later, around 9.30pm, paramedics were called to a car rollover at Biggers Waters.

Two teenagers were injured when the vehicle they were in flipped near the corner of Oxley Drive and Brisbane Road.

They were both taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.

Queensland Ambulance said the pair’s injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Then, around 10.50pm, a woman was injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Surfers Paradise.

The accident happened where Remembrance Drive meets Clifford Street.

The woman was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
