It’s understood Iero and another member of The Patience were standing at the rear of the van at the time of the collision.

Both men have since been rushed by ambulance to St Vincent’s Hospital where they are said to be in a serious but stable condition.
The third man escaped serious injury. He was treated by paramedics at the scene.
Police said no passengers were on board the bus.
The bus driver was taken to hospital for mandatory drug and alcohol testing.
