An IKEA store in Sydney has just launched a new furniture ‘take-back’ service which gives customers the opportunity to trade in their used IKEA furniture for a voucher to spend in store.

How it works: Customers are required to fill in an online form and send in images of the furniture they wish to take back.

The Swedish furniture giant will then assess the goods to see if they’re able to be on-sold before offering the customer a voucher.

At the moment, the genius furniture ‘take-back’ service is only being offered at Ikea’s Tempe store in Sydney, but fingers crossed it will be rolled out nationwide soon!
