Gold Coast massive beer festival locks in rescheduled date

UPDATE @ OCTOBER | Good news beer lovers, with a massive beer and cider festival to go ahead on the Gold Coast.

Sure, we were all left devastated when the Crafter Beer and Cider Festival had to postpone its September date, as a result of Queensland’s coronavirus restrictions.

But the Sunshine State is now almost a month free of community transmission, which means we’re back on track to see big events come our way.

Crafted Beer and Cider festival will now take place on November 28, right in time to kick off the festive season!

Even though it sold out in record time this year, MORE tickets have now been made available.

“The festival will now be able to run in a very similar format to previous years where you can roam the site, try out some new drops and chat to your mates over a top quality frothy, of course with the addition of COVID Safe measures like social distancing and no dancing,” their post reads.

“Due to capacities for outdoor events increasing we have now released additional tickets. Tickets sold out in a record few weeks, so if you missed out first time around, grab your ticket now before they’re all snapped up!”

If you already had tickets to the September date and can no longer make the November date, refunds are being offered.

It’s welcome news for the Gold Coast events calendar, which has already seen heaps of major events postponed, including the likes of Blues on Broadbeach and the Groundwater Country Music Festival.

Earlier this week it was confirmed that the Bleach* Festival would be going ahead in November, and now we can celebrate an epic beer and cider festival taking place in September.

It’ll be Crafted’s 4th year running in the beautiful Broadbeach, with over 200 brews, food trucks, bands and more.

Tickets aren’t on sale just yet, but keen festival fans (**cough**me**) can sign up for Early Bird ticket access.

More announcements regarding just how fantastic this festival will be are on their way, but mark the date now: September 12.
