Another 30kg cocaine found hidden in Gold Coast yacht
ANOTHER 30kg of cocaine, worth $30 million, has allegedly been seized from a yacht on the Gold Coast.
The discovery which was made whilst the yacht was being dismantled, means that a total of 100kg of cocaine, worth $100 million has been uncovered from the yacht ‘Solay’ which docked at Coomera a week ago.
The yacht travelled from South Amercia via Vanuatu before arriving in Australia.
On August 24, the Estonian skipper and a UK national met with three Australian men in the Dreamworld car park where police busted them with 40 kilograms of cocaine.
All five have been arrested and charged with importation of a commercial quantity of a border-controlled drug and attempted possession of a commercial quantity of an Âunlawfully imported border-controlled drug.
