Another chemist targeted by thieves on the northern Gold Coast

Police are investigating another chemist break-in on the Gold Coast, the second in just two days.

Offenders are understood to have used two large rocks to smash through the front glass window of a business along Eggersdorf Road in Ormeau.

It happened just before 3.00 am, with the thieves taking a small amount of prescription medication before fleeing the scene.

It comes just 24 hours after a chemist in Upper Coomera was targetted, with thieves using a stolen ute to smash through the glass doors.

No arrests have been made.
