Another day of no new cases or deaths in Victoria
Another day of no new cases and no new deaths in Melbourne, as city residents plan park and beach celebrations for Melbourne Cup.
It’s the fourth day in a row of no new infections, after a week of eased restrictions.
The rolling 14-day average remains at 1.9, with just two cases with an unknown source.
As of yesterday, there were just 49 infections still considered active.
It’s good news for the next round of recovery, with the ‘ring of steel’ around the city set to come down this weekend.
Health officials are expected to provide more information later today.
Once again, there were zero new cases and zero lives lost in the last 24 hours. The 14 day average remains at 1.9 and there are 2 cases with an unknown source. More info: https://t.co/pcll7ySEgz #COVID19VicData pic.twitter.com/KeHXtcoFfZ
