A man’s been sliced across the neck with a broken bottle in a Palm Beach park.
The 19-year-old man was on the Gold Coast Highway when he saw a boy, possibly 14 years of age, smashing beer bottles in the playground.
The man asked him to stop, which started an argument.

The man hit the youth in the face and at the same time the youth stabbed the man in the neck with a broken bottle before running off.
The 19-year-old Currumbin Waters man was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital with a deep cut. He is in a stable condition.
The youth is described as being aged around 14-years-old, Caucasian in appearance, approximately 180cm tall with a slim build and black hair.
