Another person charged after toddler snatched from Logan home

A fifth person has now been charged after a two-year-old boy was taken from his home in Logan during a violent home invasion.

The group is accused of storming the home on Chasley Court in Beenleigh around 11.30pm last Thursday and attacking the boy’s 27-year-old mother.

According to police, the woman was struck with an object, receiving injuries to her arm, wrist and back.


The group then fled the scene with the toddler, however following a public appeal he was thankfully found safe and well on Friday afternoon.

A 28-year-old Caboolture woman is the latest person to have been charged over the terrifying incident.

She is due to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on November 9 on charges of enter with intent, child stealing, assault occasioning bodily harm, possessing dangerous drugs and possessing drug utensils.

Four other people, including a 26-year-old Marsden woman and a 39-year-old Marsden man, 23-year-old Morayfield woman and 23-year-old Morayfield man, have already been charged with a string of offences over the incident.
