The Queen’s granddaughter Princess Eugenie has given birth to a healthy baby boy.
Buckingham Palace confirmed the exciting news in a post on The Royal Family’s official social media accounts this morning.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021, at 0855hrs at The Portland Hospital,” the statement read.

Princess Eugenie’s husband, Jack Brooksbank, was also present for the birth of the couple’s first child.
The palace said The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, and Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank are “delighted” by the news.
“This is Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s first child, The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York’s first grandchild, and the ninth great-grandchild for The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh,” the statement said.
“Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.”
Princess Eugenie took to her own Instagram account following the announcement to share an adorable black and white snap of her new bundle of joy.
The baby’s name is yet to be revealed.
