Apple introduces 72 new emoji including a croissant, avocado and bacon

If you haven’t downloaded Apple’s latest software update yet you’re missing out.

iOS 10.2 was unveiled on December 12, with the update bringing with it a range of fabulous new emoji.

The long-awaited avocado has finally made its debut, alongside a mouth-watering looking croissant, bacon and pancakes.

“iOS 10.2 brings hundreds of highly anticipated emoji to iPhone and iPad,” Apple said in a statement.

“More diverse characters, new professions, expressions like face palm, shrug and fingers crossed, and new emoji representing sports, food, animals and more.

“With iOS 10.2, almost every emoji has been beautifully redesigned to reveal even more detail, so using emoji is more fun than ever.”
