Apple’s new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and the Apple Watch Series 2 have hit the market.
The new phones feature 10 major upgrades. Top of the list – they’re water and dust resistant.
The 7 Plus also has a “dual lens” camera for better long-range pics and a portrait effect to add depth of field to photos. As another bonus the cameras are 60% faster than previous iPhones and include an optical image stabiliser which helps if you have shaky hands.

There’s no headphone jack. That’s been replaced by earbuds which connect through the the charging port, or for a bit more cash you can get wireless headphones with infrared sensors that detect when they’re in your ear and only play then.
There’s also a redesigned pressure-sensitive home button and stereo speakers.

Apple says the 7’s battery will last two hours longer than the 6, and the 7 Plus battery lasts one hour more than the 6 Plus.
They come in a high gloss jet black, black, gold, silver, and rose gold.
The Apple Watch Series 2 has dual core, watchOS 3, 2x brighter display, it’s water resistant, so you can swim with it, and has built in GPS.
There’s new interfaces, it can make messaging more expressive including writing custom replies with a scribble, it features new health apps and a new safety feature that allows the user to call emergency services by holding a button on the side.
