Investigations are underway after an armed robbery in Southport last night.
A woman was sitting in her car, parked in the Gold Coast University Hospital car park around 8.45pm, when she was approached by a man.
He then pulled out a knife and demanded she get out of her car.

He then stole her Subaru, and drove through a car park boom gate to escape down Olsen Avenue.
Luckily, the 49-year-old woman was uninjured in the incident.
The man’s believed to be in his late 20s, and is described as approximately 180cm tall, with an athletic build and short sandy hair. He was last seen wearing a black top and long black shorts.
