Armed men on the run after robbing Gold Coast kebab shop
Two men are on the run after robbing a takeaway food shop while armed with a hunting knife on the Gold Coast overnight.
The pair stormed the store on Frank Street in Labrador around 11.15pm, demanding money from the 30-year-old attendant.
Police said the men cut the cord to a sale computer, possibly believing it was a cash register, before taking off with it.
The men are described as being aged in their early 20’s, 175 cm tall wearing dark coloured hoodies and had their faces covered.
