Armed robbers target Sydney temple
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the robbery of two women inside a Sydney temple.
About 8.40pm on Monday evening two men forced their way into a temple on Victoria Street at Wetherill Park armed with a knife.
They threatened two women, aged 81 and 88, who were inside the sleeping quarters of the premises and stole money and an iPad.
The two men ran off before Police arrived. A crime scene was set up.
Both women were treated at the scene for shock with the 81-year-old being taken to Fairfield Hospital for observation.
Investigations continue.
