Armed robbery investigated in seaside suburb in NSW
Police are investigating an armed robbery in Wollongong on Wednesday.
About 6.30pm, a man walked into a service station on Pioneer Road, near the intersection of Murray Road at the seaside suburb of East Corrimal.
He threatened the two on duty with a knife and demanded cash.
The man got what he wanted and left the service station. He was last seen riding a bicycle south on Pioneer Road.
Officers from Wollongong Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
Police investigating the incident would like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.
The man is described as being about 183cm tall with a solid build and a fair complexion.
