Armed thief on the run after Logan servo hold-up

POLICE are on the hunt for an armed thief who held up a Logan service station on Monday night.

The man is said to have entered the Logan Road business in Underwood around 7.30pm.

He’s then jumped the counter before filling up a bag with tobacco products and then pulling out a knife on the staff member.

The man then demanded the staffer open the cash register before stuffing a heap of money into his bag.

He was last seen running off across Logan Road and south along the service road.
