IF you hear the buzz of loud army helicopters roaring above the Gold Coast today, don’t be alarmed – they’re just in training.
Five Black Hawk helicopters stalked the Gold Coast skyline for the majority of the afternoon as part of a routine training exercise.

The low flying squadron could be in our skies until midnight tonight with the ADF warning of some ‘unavoidable noise’.
The Depertment of Defence said the exercise was essential and ensured pilots and aircrew were well trained to fly in all conditions.
