More than $9K worth of drugs found during raid on Gold Coast home

FOUR people have been charged after officers discovered more than $9000 worth of drugs at a home in Ormeau overnight.

Police from the Gold Coast Rapid Action Patrol located the haul after attending the Banks Drive house around 7.30pm.

300 MDMA tablets with a street value of $9000 along with 6 grams of methamphetamine, 2 grams of cocaine, 30ml of GHB and cannabis along with drug utensils including scales was all found inside the property.

A 27-year-old woman from Ormeau, 26-year-old man from Ormeau, 35-year-old man from Bonogin and  30-year-old man from Surfers Paradise have all been charged with various drug offences.

All four people are due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on June 20.
