Ash cloud returns to halt Bali holiday plans

A GIANT ash cloud is again causing flight delays and cancellations in Bali.

Holiday makers could be stranded once more as volcanic ash from Mount Raung sweeps into the flight path from Denpasar Airport to Australia.

Both Jetstar and Virgin have been forced to cancel flights to and from the holiday destination.

One Virgin plane managed to land at Brisbane Airport this morning, but travellers are encouraged to check with their individual carrier as to whether their flights are going ahead.

The ash cloud has been causing ongoing issues for the past month.
