At least 5 dead in tragic US shooting

UPDATE: A GUNMAN still remains on the run, after killing a number of people in the US city of Philadelphia.

Bradley William Stone is a suspect in the death of his ex-wife; former mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law; and sister-in-law and her husband and 14-year-old daughter.

A GUNMAN has shot and killed at least 5 people outside the US city of Philadelphia.

The shootings, which some local media says are thought to have been committed by a military veteran, occurred on Monday (local time) at three different locations.

SWAT teams have been called to a possible fourth scene in Pennsburg.

Police say the suspect is barricaded inside a home in the area, one of the sites where bodies were found and officers have taken positions outside.

It’s believed all victims – including at least one woman – were shot at close range.
