“Two new books are being published in October with the British Library to accompany their Harry Potter exhibition,” the publisher said in a trading statement on Tuesday.
“They are Harry Potter: A History of Magic – A book which takes readers on a journey through the subjects studied at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and Harry Potter – A Journey Through A History of Magic, which is the history of magic, from alchemy to unicorns, ancient witchcraft to Hogwarts.”
The books are obviously not stories about the Harry Potter characters, but they do give fans a bit of background information into the world of wizardry!
An exact date has not yet been made public, however we do know that the books will be released in the UK in October, alongside the opening of the Harry Potter exhibition at the British Library.
