ATV rolls on elderly man in Sunshine Coast Hinterland
An elderly man has been injured after his All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) rolled on top of him in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
The RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter was sent to the property, near the coastal hinterland town of Witta, just after midday.
The crew found a 72-year-old man with suspected chest and pelvic injuries. It’s believed he had been helping the property owner at the time of the accident.

He was treated at the scene before being transported to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.
The patient was assisting the property owner at the time of the accident.
