There will also be opportunities over the weekend for locals to adopt a new family member.
Pet Industry Association of Australia CEO, Mark Fraser, said he is excited to be bringing the premier pet trade show and expo to the Gold Coast and for the first time.
“We are thrilled we can bring a huge program of shows, demonstrations and activities that is sure to delight the whole community,” he said.
“Being able to pat, touch and learn about our animal friends will be a huge drawcard. We are thrilled to be giving visitors the opportunity to meet experts in their fields and learn more about life with pets, no matter their shape, size or species,” said Mark.
The expo is also not just for human-kind to attend, with attendees are encouraged to bring their four-legged family members along for a $2 donation which will be given to ‘The Sanctuary Women’s Refuge’.
