USA Today said the 45-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing.
He was released after posting a bond of $US1,500.
Allenby missed the cut at the John Deere Classic by three strokes after shooting even-par 142.
Last year he hit worldwide headlines after missing the cut in the Sony Open in Hawaii when he woke up with a bloody forehead and a black eye, and claimed he’d been robbed, kidnapped and beaten.
A local man was later sentenced to five years in prison over the incident.
