Aussie men arrested after stripping into underpants at Malaysian Grand Prix

Nine Australians have been arrested and are facing possible charges after they were caught stripping down into their underwear at the Malaysian Grand Prix.

The nine men were taken into custody on Sunday after they took off all of their clothes, revealing only their underpants which featured the print of the Malaysian flag.

The men were celebrating Daniel Ricciardo’s Sepang Formula 1 Grand Prix win at the time of the incident.

Their behaviour is believed to have offended locals at the event, with the men facing the possible charge of “intentional insult with intent to provoke a breach of the peace,” local media report.

Investigations are ongoing.
