Motorbike rider Jack Miller has performed a bit of a ‘Steven Bradbury’, becoming the first Australian to win a MotoGP race since Gold Coaster Casey Stoner.
Miller took out the Dutch TT race at Assen in The Netherland in torrential rain, which forced the riders off the track after 14 laps.
Sunday’s race had to be cut to 12 laps, the three who were in front including Valentino Rossi, all fell in the wet conditions.

That just left Aussie Jack to race to the lead and he managed to hold on until the end, even entertaining fans with a wheelie after he crossed the line.
The last Aussie to win a MotoGP race was Stoner at the Phillip Island track in 2012.
