Aussies acts score Grammy nominations
Australian alternative dance group Rufus Du Sol and DJ Flume will go head-to-head at this year’s Grammy Awards.
The Australians were nominated on Wednesday in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category, with Rufus Du Sol getting the nod for Solace and Flume for Hi This is Flume.

Sydney’s Rufus Du Sol were also nominated in the Best Dance Recording category for Underwater.
Australia’s other nominees included For King & Country who also received two nods.
They were nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance or Song for God Only Knows, their collaboration with Dolly Parton, and Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for Burn the Ships.
Baz Luhrmann also received a nod for Moulin Rouge! The Musical for Best Musical Theatre Album.
Overall, US rapper Lizzo capped off her huge year with eight nominations, more than any other artist.
Lizzo’s haul included Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year nominations.

Billie Eilish and Lil Nas X were next with six nods each.
The 62nd Grammy Awards will be held in Los Angeles on January 26.
