Aussies ranked “least happy” with broadband performance

If you think you’re the only one frustrated with internet speeds in Australia, that’s certainly not the case, we’ve ranked last in a poll surveying satisfaction with broadband performance.

In the IPSOS survey, Australia joined Italy and Brazil as the only countries where less than four out of 10 respondents thought their country’s broadband service was good.

The international average is 56 per cent.

60 per cent of Australians rated our broadband quality as fair or very poor.

The top three countries were Serbia, South Korea and Colombia.

The poor polling results come alongside widespread criticism of the roll out of the National Broadband Network.
