Australia knocked out of the Davis Cup
Australia has been knocked out of the Davis Cup, losing their semi-final tie 3-2 to Belgium.
Both Nick Kyrgios and Jordan Thompson lost their reverse singles matches on Sunday, denying them a spot in the final.
Captain Lleyton Hewitt said despite the loss, he was “extremely proud of all of the boys”.
“Everyone gave 100 per cent. We left it all out there but that doesn’t make it hurt any less,” Hewitt said.
