The laziest countries in the world have been revealed… and Australia’s ranking might surprise you.
To put together the lazy list, scientists at the University of Stanford collected smartphone data from more than 700,000 people across the globe to measure the amount of steps they took in a day.
Scientists named Australia the 19th laziest country in the World, after it was discovered Aussies only walk 4941 steps a day.

Indonesia was found to be the laziest country in the World, with Indonesians walking only 3513 steps a day.
Hong Kong was deemed the most active nation on the planet, with the population walking an average of 6880 steps a day.
