The family of Australian boy Julian Cadman, caught up in the Barcelona terror attacks last Friday, have confirmed his death.
A verified Spanish missing persons twitter account initially released the information in a statement.
“The family of Julian Cadman has told us that unfortunately he is one of the victims of the attack and has asked us to thank all the people who have spread the news,” it said [translated].

This information was later confirmed by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs.

The 7 year old became separated from his mother when a van drove through the tourist hotspot.
14 people were killed during the attack on Las Ramblas and more than 100 were injured.
Mrs Cadman is still in hospital and it is understood Julian’s father has traveled from Sydney to Barcelona to be by her side.
