Australian cricket legend Max Walker dies, aged 68
Australian cricket legend Max Walker has died, aged 68.
The man, known as ‘Tangles’ for his unique bowling style, died following a battle with cancer.
Walker took 138 wickets in 34 Tests for Australia and played 70 first-class games for Victoria.
After retiring, Walker worked as a sports reporter, commentator and presenter of Wide World of Sports for Channel Nine.
Since news of Walker’s shock passing broke, social media instantly lit up with tributes.
