Australian cricket team bus attacked after series leveling win

The Australian cricket team bus has been attacked after their T20 victory against India in Guwahati last night.

A rock was thrown through the window of the bus as they travelled from Barsapara Stadium to their hotel.

Australian opening batsman, Aaron Finch posted a picture of the damage, saying it was “pretty scary”.

No one was injured in the incident as the seat next to the window was unoccupied at the time.

Earlier, Jason Behrendorff starred for the Aussies with the left-arm quick leading an eight-wicket series-levelling win over India in the second of the T20 matches.

Behrendorff picked up four wickets as the Australians bowled India out for 118.

Moises Henriques was the best with the bat for the visitors hitting 62 runs before they chased down India’s total with 27 balls to spare.

The final match of the series will be played at Hyderabad on Friday.
