Australian Defence Force Cadet arrested over alleged sexual assault of colleague

An Australian Defence Force Academy Cadet has been arrested over the alleged sexual assault of a female colleague.

The 18-year-old male was arrested by ACT Police on Friday and charged with sexual intercourse without consent.

The Defence Force said in a statement that they were assisting police and providing support to individuals concerned.
