An Australian man has tragically died after going overboard on a cruise ship in the Caribbean.
The Royal Caribbean’s ‘Symphony of the Seas’ was on its way from St Kitts to St Thomas early on Wednesday morning, when crews launched a full scale search for the man.
His body was recovered after the ship deployed a rescue boat.

The man has since been identified as an entrepreneur from Sydney called Jonathan Pfahl.
It’s understood he’s a father of two and was on board with his wife and children at the time.
It’s not clear exactly how Mr Pfahl went overboard, and the US Coast Guard reportedly won’t be investigating the issue because it happened in international waters and the man was not a US citizen.
Tributes for Jonathan Pfahl are starting to flow on social media.
