Australian killed when two seaplanes collided in Alaska
An Australian has been confirmed as one of the casualties in a seaplane collision in Alaska.
Two ‘flightseeing’ seaplanes were operating from a cruise ship around the Misty Fjords National Monument.
10 passengers were on one of the planes and a pilot, and four passengers and a pilot were on the other.
Four people have been confirmed dead, and 10 people have been rescued and are now receiving medical care.
Two people are still missing, with dive teams searching icy waters for the pair.
